Vin Diesel’s stunt double seriously injured on Fast and Furious 9 set

Production halted after a stuntman was seriously injured on the set of Fast and Furious 9. The filming has been stopped for now.

According to initial reports suggest Vin Diesel’s stunt double, while performing a jump, fell from a considerable height. Vin Diesel was in utter shock, and tears were rolling down his cheeks. Fast and Furious stunt double Joe Watts is thought to be in an induced coma. The stuntman fell at least 30 feet or more. He received severe serious head injuries and was immediately rushed to Royal London Hospital.

They were filming a high balcony scene. The stuntman was tied to the safety wire and harness, but it looks like the cable is snapped accidentally. He, unfortunately, plunged to the ground and landed on his head. There was a horrifying noise at the set. The movie set turned out to be the crime scene and everything was recorded on camera. That was handed to police officials.

Tilly Powell, his girlfriend, and fianceé was devasted by the news and broke silence on facebook. She is broken and says her family, friends are all by his side.

Also, Fast & Furious co-star Paul Walker died aged 40 in a car crash off-set during the filming of the franchise’s seventh film in 2013.

Police officials attended and noted down all the queries regarding the crime scene.
